Overview: Speech 201 will encompass all aspects of communication. Various speaking situations will be presented, and students will learn to not only be good speakers but also good listeners. Interpersonal communications will be accentuated as students prepare and present informative, persuasive, and demonstration speeches. A unit on debate will be included if time allows. Performance for a variety of audiences will be emphasized.
