Overview: This course involves an intensive study of literature and history of Britain and the development of the English language from the Anglo-Saxon period to the mid-20th century. Writing persuasive and expositive essays will be done to further develop research and writing skills. The course also emphasizes writing resumes, job application letters, job applications, and business letters. Vocabulary tests will also be incorporated into the curriculum.
