K-W-L Reading Strategy

Abe Lincoln, the 16th President was elected from the state of Illinois and was a key figure in Civil War history.  Please choose one of the following events from his life that was presented in the textbook and type a completed K-W-L chart as presented and discussed in class.  As a reminder I have posted my sample K-W-L from the presidential unit.

To insert a table, go to the Word tool bar and choose insert from the TABLE drop down menu.  You will need three columns and six rows. If you need more rows select insert rows from the same TABLE drop down menu.  Remember to also footnote what you have learned and written in that column.  Even though I have written these points in my own words, they still need to be footnoted because I learned them from reading the textbook.
