This is a year-long course, open to all grades, that explores the physical
features of the earth and the life on it. Land forms, soil types, climate,
vegetation, and locations will be among the topics studied. A few weeks will
be spent examining the United States, with the remainder of the year devoted
to the world's regions. Emphasis will be given to changes and the complex
relationships between people and the environment.
