Students are required to take U.S. History as a junior in order to graduate.
This class is a one-year survey course emphasizing the transition of the United
States from a rural-agrarian society to an urban-industrial society and emergence
as a world power. Political, social, economic, and other aspects of our culture
will studied, with emphasis on their influence on, and relationship to, the
present day and future.
