Supervised Agricultural Experience 1

Grades 9, 10
Prerequisite: Introduction to Agriculture
Credit: 1/2
Overview: This orientation program is for students in the
9th and 10th grades. Students enrolled in this course must also be enrolled
in an approved Ag. Education course. Individual
students will have a maximum of one approved project or plans for a project
to be completed at a later date. Supervised study, project record bookwork,
training plans and agreements, report writing and instructor project visitations
and supervision are essentials of the supervised occupational experience as
well as basic employability, transition skills, and work ethic. ALL SAE WORK
IS DONE OUTSIDE OF THE REGULAR SCHOOL HOURS.

11th and 12th
grades. Students enrolled in this course must also be enrolled
in an approved Ag. Education course. Individual students will have a minimum
of one approved study project or acceptable plans for a project to be completed
at a later date.
Supervised study, project record book work, training plans and Agreements,
report writing and instructor project visitations and supervision are essentials
of the supervised occupational experience as well as basic employability,
transition skills, and work ethic. ALL SAE WORK IS DONE OUTSIDE OF THE REGULAR
SCHOOL HOURS.
