Personal Information: I was married in June, 2004, to Bob Sturk. Bob and I are caretakers of the historical Gurler House in DeKalb. I enjoy knitting, sewing, drawing, gardening, and camping. I also cherish spending time with my family and friends.
What she enjoys about teaching: What I enjoy most about teaching is finding effective ways to help students who struggle to be successful. I love their smiles when they feel accomplished. Also, I live for the “Ah ha!” moments! I also enjoy collaborating with the other wonderful faculty members at ICHS.
