who currently achieve at the below/approaching standards level for those
subject areas. Methods for
identification include, but are not limited to, grades, Stanford scores,
Plan scores, Explore scores, PSAE scores, and data from ICMS. 2) Increase the effectiveness of
Teacher Assistance Teams by involving parents and students, and
documenting the effectiveness of implemented student improvement
goals. 3) Determine incentives for
student achievement whereby performance on standardized tests is viewed as
related to a student’s school performance. 4) Consider relevant professional development training.
- Supports for Student
Learning: 1) Expansion of
Co-Teaching; 2) Advisement – Mentoring Process; 3) Structured Study Hall;
4) Teacher Assistance Teams; 5) Renaissance Program; 6) Increased
personnel for Special Education services.
- Goal #4: Increase overall achievement for
students currently performing at “Beginning to Meet Standards” level by
3%: 1) Increase parent and student
involvement in Teacher Assistance Team process; 2) Improve
early-identification process and get students appropriate assistance; 3)
Determine incentives for increasing student achievement.
- Increase overall
achievement for student currently performing at “Meets Standards”
level: 1) Study the potential for
implementing “weighted grades” for selected courses, thereby encouraging
students to take these courses; 2) Determine incentives that will increase
student achievement.
