Orphan Stock Program

An "orphan" is a stock certificate that you own, usually for a relatively small number of shares which you really have no profound interest in owning. In fact, many people end up holding these shares for years simply because it is easier than selling them. Now you can receive an income tax deduction for the full value of those shares simply by donating them to the Indian Creek Education Foundation.
