Music Boosters
What is Music Boosters?
If you have a student in band or choir, you are a part of Indian Creek Music Boosters. We plan and coordinate fundraising events and other student activities to aid the music program at both the middle school and high school. Since 1999 we have planned a campaign to raise funds to repair or replace school instruments, purchase computers for both buildings and purchase concert wear for the high school and middle school.
Meetings are scheduled as needed and important information is sent home with students before most major events. This year we are sending post cards to parents rather than sending notes home with students (sometimes they never leave the band room!) with information regarding fundraising events. Please check the district newsletter for updates and reminders. If you have any questions you may contact either Mr. Feken or Mrs. Aska.
Grants can Provide Needed Money!
Check with your employer to see if they offer educational grants/matching fund grants. Last year Band parent Sue Williams helped us apply for our first grant through her employer, which sponsors grants for education and community based programs. We are continually looking for funding. If you have information concerning possible grants, please contact Mr. Feken.
Fundraising Events
Aluminum Can Drive: Sept-May Every second Saturday of the month. 8-10 am with pickups at the high school back parking lot all year and middle school north lot from February to May.
CCC Auction Lunch and Concessions - We provide sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, chips, deserts, and drinks starting at 11:30 am and go to the end of the auction or until we sell out! This year's auction will be Sunday, March 11th at ICMS.
